Cleantech Lithium Plc said on Monday that the board is examining the possibility of listing the company on international stock exchanges such as the ASX in Australia and the OTCQX in the US.

The London-listed Chile-focused exploration and development company said it is expanding its existing investor relations program to promote itself with shareholders, investors and the media in Australia, Germany and Switzerland.

The board noted that its shares were traded on four German stock exchanges, including Frankfurt and Munich, and although the company did not instigate these listings, it said it believed that due to the huge potential investor base. Cleantech Lithium said Chief Executive Aldo Boitano is in Australia to meet with some shareholders and other interested investors and that he will discuss the merits of a potential ASX listing with various stakeholders during the visit.

Shares were up 0.25 pence, or 0.5%, at 48.25 pence at 0803 GMT.
