Elon Musk announced the end of the search for a new CEO of Twitter.

In a Twitter post Thursday, Musk said an unnamed woman would take over in about six weeks.

Musk added that he will move into the position of executive chairman and chief technical officer, “overseeing the product, software and sysops.”

Although Musk did not name his replacement, the Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the situation, said on Thursday that NBCUniversal’s head of publicity Linda Iaccarino was in talks for the role.

Musk’s announcement came after Twitter users overwhelmingly voted in December to resign the Tesla CEO as head of social media in a poll he conducted himself.
