Texas-based Valley International Cold Storage Acquisition said the recalled frozen meals are labeled Korean-style beef but contain chicken sausage and peppers, both of which include milk.

9.25 oz boxes labeled “Healthy Choice POWER BOWLS with Korean Beef” produced on July 22, 2022 have been shipped to outlets across the country. They include the institution number “34622” on the end valve of the box, the batch code “5246220320” and the “best before” date of April 18, 2023.

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) says it is concerned that the recalled product may be in consumers’ freezers.

“Consumers who have purchased these products are strongly advised not to consume them,” the FGIS added. “These products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.”

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions associated with the use of the recalled product. Individuals concerned about injury or illness should contact their healthcare provider.
